It’s 2016!

Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe it’s been 16 years since the Y2K? I just realized that my littlest sister wasn’t even born yet at that time… Wow. I’m getting up there.

So on to the sweetest product I’ve been lucky enough to review for my fur babies… A Sky Blue Armarkat Cat Tree!

It’s funny… Santa knew exactly what my cats wanted this year. And yes, Santa delivered this to our house in December while no one was looking. Suddenly a box appeared outside my front door and BAM, we knew our cats were on Santa’s Nice List!
I’m pretty sure every cat lover wants the biggest, most baddest cat tree ever. One that your cats can climb to the ceiling and up into the attic and beyond, maybe even with an outdoor run attached… with all the bells and whistles and catnip toys included! However, if you snap back into reality, you suddenly realize a smaller tree might suit your home’s decor a bit nicer.
The Armarkat Cat Tree measures 24 x 14 x 26 inches, making it the perfect medium-size cat lounger for your living room. It’s not the small pathetic ones you find at your local department store or the huge awesome-but-far-too-expensive ones on display at pet or farm feed stores. This one has a small hideaway spot, a perch, scratching post and two toys. It took me less than five minutes to put it together without any tools required. It feels pretty durable too.
Funny thing. The baby that enjoyed playing on the cat tree was my very own monkey boy. It’s only recommended for up to 15 pounds… but that didn’t stop him from repeatedly climbing through the hole and giggling like crazy. At the very least, I can tell you that the cat tree held up well through that!
Besides the one year old human, I have three cats enjoying the cat tree too. It’s weird how cats know to scratch the scratching post immediately. It’s weird… unless your cats dig their claws into everything. Then they are just being butts. So, FYI, for those that know my cats, I only have two indoor cats. The lovely Felix, who is modeling the cat tree in all the pictures is my naughty outdoor cat who I let inside to spoil for ten minutes. Santa brought him & Toby (our second outdoor cat that our neighbors abandoned) 6 cans of wet cat food instead. 🙂
