It’s amazing how fast important and non-important information spreads across the internet community! I’ve been hearing and reading about the superfood benefits of kefir for many, many months now. Finally, it’s my turn to share some valueable information neatly arranged into three perfect infographics.
Kefir is a super healthy fermented milk product containing microbiota— those good “bugs” that do wonders for your body! The benefits range from increased ability to cope with stress, reduced social anxiety, bad breath remedy, fewer colds and stomach infections, healthier skin, and just an overall sense of wellbeing.
It’s super easy to make + inexpensive when making batches at home compared to purchasing store bought brands. If you don’t have access to your own dairy milk from well treated cows… I recommend using almond, soy or coconut milk to make kefir! 🙂 We mix kefir into our green smoothies for an added probiotic boost to start the day or for an evening pick-me-up. It’s very tart on its own, so it’s best blended into fruit smoothies.
Get started making your own milk kefir with only 4 tbsp kefir grains + 1 quart of milk. Learn all the steps to make your own milk kefir and more in the infographics below!
